I actually love this series, though I do admit that Bella is painted as a little too perfect. I actually like Stephenie's writing style. I find it simple to understand, but still intelligent. Edward is dwelled upon a little to much, but I think that's only because the series is written from Bella's ...

Why do schools have 2-day weeks? What is the point? I spent first period (American Studies) yesterday playing Name-That-Tune (which proved how culturally starved my classmates are). Second period (Algebra II) was spent playing basketball. In Spanish II I watched two episodes of The Office (in englis...

I saw Madagascar 2 yesterday, and it was pretty good. The Alex part of the story was kinda Lion King-y but still nice. As always, it was a little predictable, but it was kinda funny and I loved the actors in it. The couple jokes no one else in my group of friends got though were [spoiler]There's a p...

If I had to be a senshi I would be Mercury (even though Neptune is my fave) because Ami-chan is never harsh or mean. She is also super smart and is a senshi of water (which I adore). If I could be any character I would pick Naru though. Compared to the senshi she has a very easy life. She also seems...

I've set out on reading all of Jane Ausitn's novels. I'm also being forced to read "The Civil War: Strange and Fascinating Facts" (Which actually contians facts that are usually not that fascinating). It's ok though, I enjoy history. At least it's better than what my American Studies teacher is read...

I dislike both candidates, but I would probably vote for Obama. The thing I really hate about this election though (other than who's running, the lack of real stands on the issues, and all that other crap) are the commercials. They hardley ever say anything positive. It's all mud-slinging. I passed ...

People are idiots. That is one of the three fundamental facts of life. Why anyone would intentionally bother any animal is beyond me. (perhaps they just have a serious inferiority complex, therefore only animals are good targets) I just don't understand. off topic: would just like to point out it's ...

One's school decides to put on a certain show about a year before, and all the other schools and local companies know about it. Then another local school decides to put on the same show one week after the origianl does. After that, the neighboring town's community theatre decides to do the exact sam...

This is...interesting, though extremely offensive to some people. Also, notice that he didn't do this until he was no longer able to run for office. I respect his point, as everyone should have access to the court system, but suing God? Come on, people.

I'm pretty far into Running With Scissors. It's pretty good, but it's really odd...not confusing so much as just...wierd. It's a little perverted, but I like it. It's very easy to read, and just makes you want to read "just one more chapter." It's hard to believe people actually did these things tho...

I'm so tired of the saying 'It's better to be safe than sorry.' It contradicts 'it's better to have loved, and lost, than to never have loved at all.' and many times, it's better to have really experienced something than to just stay safe. (except for things that could screw up your whole life, like...

I only have a real problem if a 16 year old does it with someone 18 or older. That is called statuatory rape. I honestly have a problem with a 17 year old having an 18 year old for a partner as well, simply because it is illegal. Personaly, I'm waiting until I'm out of college to get married, and t...
