Well 'really hard' is a far cry from 'impossible'. The idea behind the challenges is that they are really hard.

Hardest challenge I've ever completed is beating FFVII with no Materia and no 'ultimate weapons' (which IMO, is harder than FFVIII without Junctions), but here are some other good ones: In FFVII, defeat the Emerald Weapon without using the Underwater materia AND without using the Knights of the Rou...

Playing any version of DOOM past level 15 of DOOM 2 without cheating and getting better than 50% on anything, and you're pretty awesome. Some other good ones I know of are: Play Thief: The Dark Project on Expert difficulty, and do not disturb anything. (Meaning you cannot use the Blackjack, throw ob...

The first dub episode I saw was the episode before Amy was introduced. I picked up the original with 'Usagi Reflects! The Road to Stardom is Severe' - simply because it was the earliest episode I could find.

'Jenova Absolute' from Final Fantasy VII, the Casino Night Zone theme from Sonic 2, the random battle music from Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete, and the final battle with your rival music from Pokemon Red/Blue.

That's interesting, since the battle system was one of the things I like the most about the Lunar games. It lends a wee bit of strategy to setting up your battle formation, unlike the rather simplistic front/back rank setup of FFV - FFIX (I haven't played FFX or X2 yet, so I have no idea if they sti...

Did I make it sound like I preferred the dub to the original? That certianly wasn't my purpose in writing this, and it's certianly untrue. What is true, however, is that I appreciate the dub for what it is, and (mostly) in the ways that you've all pointed out (especially Starscream, who's obviously ...

While I only enjoyed Lunar: Eternal Blue about as much as I enjoyed Final Fantasy VIII (immensely) I'd say that Silver Star Story Complete is my favorite game - tied with Final Fantasy VII. I think that Bob hit the nail on the head when he talked about the charm of the games. As he said, they weren'...

LADY FLAME SNIPER GETS MINUS 100 COOL POINTS!!! So I've lost like....1000 cool points from telling you how much I dislike Xenogears? I know I've said that a few times. But I guess we're even, since I really like Vagrant Story. Probably my worst purchase ever would be Strike Commander Deluxe ...

I saw it simply out of curiosity. While Bowling for Columbine was a good primer piece on gun control, this was somewhat shockingly full of half-truths and modified information. Don't get me wrong - I'll be voting against Bush in November, but ths movie really had nothing to do with that. One problem...

I'll definately be watching this. I love the original, but I have a fear that this might turn out to be like Transformers Armada, which was/is terrible. I still like the original Transformers, though.

Does anyone know is Go-Lion has been subtitled or if some english version is available?

Even with all the dub-bashing that occurs, I still enjoy watching my dubbed Sailor Moon (which is now...almost 6 years old...wow) tapes. As I've grown and explored anime since that time, I've actually gained a greater appreciation for the dub as a seperate entity from the original anime. As such, I ...

HA! I play this game! I even have most of the edition 1 cards, and a Past & Future starter. Sadly the game was more or less neglected by DART, and it died after the Past and Future expansion. I'm a fairly avid CCG player (Decipher Star Wars, Magic: the Gathering, and Middle Earth, another dead game)...

My favorite has to be 'Protect Chibi-Usa! 10 Warrior's Fierce Battle!'. While a big part of the reason that its my favorite is Aino Senshi, the fact that its the first time Usagi truly realizes her role in protecting Chibi Usa and also begins to accept her position as the only thing between the Blac...

Em - Yeah, Nagisia Kaworu is his name. I liked him alot as well, but wouldn't consider him an EVA pilot the way I'd consider Shinji, Rei, and Auska EVA pilots. I don't think Auska and Misato were that funny overall. Sure, they had their moments, but the series as a whole was so dark, I don't think t...

The end of Final Fantasy Tactics. "Nuff said Really? I thought Hashmalum and Altima were pathetically easy. The only hard battle in FFT for me was Inside Riovanes Castle, whihc is probably one of the hardest fights in all of videogames. But other than that, Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening - I've ...
