One thing that annoys me that yaoi (and het) fanfic writers LOVE to overuse are the rape/comfort fanfics. I'm sure you've at least read ONE. Good lord *shudders* Annoys me too. Also the abuse/comfort thing. Especially if the rapist and/or abuser is someone who would never ever do such a thing. Like...
