It seems to me that a lot of the use of English is just because the Japanese think English is cool. I mean, they put some damn stupid (and at times just plain nonsensical) English on their stuff... not to mention the random English words...

Does the constant mispronunciation of English in the Japanese language (including anime) bother you too, then? They're both the same thing to me, and neither really bothers me.
