I never liked Irvine. I kept him out of my party and his level is always really low in my games. I always use Squall (duh, got no choice most of the game) and any two of the following: Quistis, Rinoa, and Selphie. Squall is a lot like me, actually. Except cooler. Quistis is just damn hot, as is Rinoa.
