I can't recall if I already mentioned it, but it always bugged me that the Inners never used their upgraded attacks after the Doom Tree arc (well, Venus did it once in SuperS...), but you'd see them using the basic version for most of the series. Yeah, that makes sense. But I think they do that because the majority of the Japanese fans has read the manga and knew what would happen. Except that the Sailor Moon manga is drastically different from the anime. Granted, the Inners die at that point in the manga too, but the circumstances are cons...

That arc contained both Fire Soul Bird and Supreme Thunder Dragon, thus it was awesome.

Pity those moves were forgotten afterwards, though. You'd keep seeing them using the base moves later in the series, despite having stronger versions...
