I really like the older episodes of Spongebob, back before Patrick got black eyebrows. The newer episodes aren't as funny, and the animation has gotten really ugly. It's similar, in a way, to Powerpuff Girls. I (heart) the old episodes, but the new episodes are *terrible.* Anyway, I think Squidward ...

up to 4 on both JING and DNAngel. I had no idea the fourth one was out already. This Friday is discount Friday at Walden's book (for members of the university's anime and manga club) but I don't know if I'll be able to buy anything, because the moneys in my account are currently Off Limits until my ...

alright, here's something else to add to your frustration, Dan! I'm now on one of the many University computers, which use XP Professional and Internet Explorer, the newest version, and I CAN see RT's avatar, but only in the calendar. I still can't see Dinozore's stuff or Artemis's stuff.

Aw, that one sounds fun. On a similar vein, there's a new Progresso/Campbells/canned soup commercial where a couple is sitting around eating and practicing their Japanese for vacation. They say all kinds of things like (subtitled) "the carrots are pretty," and stuff, and the husband goes: "Yes, you ...

Really? Crazy!! Not to turn this into a chatroom, but yeah, it's pretty crazy. It's a retelling done in graphic-novel style by Serena Vallentino (sp?), in a collection called "Nightmares and Fairytales." The whole collection follows the story of a little doll named Annabelle as she goes thru her li...

Now that it's mentioned, I can't see Artemis's stuff either. It's the same as Dinozore appears. Hmmm. How very odd. It probably has something to do with the hidden member thing, tho. Or something? I CAN see Artemis's location and everything else, tho.

Btw, it's more of a "midquel"....it says on the site I went to that it takes place in the middle of the first movie...which makes sense, becuase he's an adult by the end of it =P I mentioned that the first time I typed up my post, but wasn't sure if I was right or not, so I took it out, since I was...

I know that in the *manga,* SuperS is much more similar to Sleeping Beauty than to Snow White (in fact, it's almost *too* much so). In the anime, I want to say that it is a little similar to Snow White, in that Nehelania wants to be young forever, but I don't much see the comparisions beyond that. A...

I, also, cannot see Dinozore's post number. AND, as a CSRTA member, I cannot see RT's av EVER, not in her profile, not on the calendar...just...not at all.
*edit, cuz I don't know my acronyms or proper comma usage.*

There's gonna be a Bambi 2. How horrible is that? It's about Bambi bein' an angsty teenager when his father (the Prince of the Forest) finds a new mate. Let's not mention that nothing like this happened in the book, okay? Let's also not mention that deer aren't exclusive anyway.

Speaking of Stars: I noticed that the Nehelania arc is *remarkably* similar to the fairy tale "The Snow Queen," by Hans Christian Anderson, in which a goblin makes a mirror that distorts beautiful stuff, but it breaks, and little peices go flying all over. One get's stuck in a boy named Kay's eye (a...

*pins on a CSRTA member badge* Can't see it either, never have. I use Internet Explorer, the most recent version, I think, and am using Windows XP Home Edition. EDIT: I assume that being a CSRTA member also means that you can't see RT's rank-star-things, either. Because I've never been able to see t...

Akarui-- I really like your second banner. I was thinking of using that pic for my banner, too, but decided on Papillon instead.
Strawbaby-- Another awesome banner! Such good entries. It's a good thing we *don't* vote, as I probably wouldn't be able to decide!

Well, I decided to go ahead and try . It's not very colorful, but then, it's a black and white manga image, and there was just NO way I could think to add any colors that wouldn't look...forced. You know? Even the butterfly is stretching it a little, but it needed *something.* Bleah. And the only co...

All the banners entered so far are neat! Strawbaby, yours is awesome! Do you think maybe for the next banner contest, we could do a vote? I know they can be construed as popularity contests, and I really don't mind Tiff being the judge, but I think a vote would be cool for one, just to see how it go...

lol.
How many cockroaches does it take to screw in a lighbulb? No one knows, as soon as it comes on, they all scatter! (That one's from A Bug's Life)
How many flies does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Two, but no one knows how they got in there.
Those are the only two I can remember at the moment.

Waldenbooks is having a big sale, buy 3 manga and get the 4th free. Plus, I had two $5 off coupons and perferred reader, so there was no way I was gonna miss out on it. I bought DNAngel 3 Galaxy Angel 3 King of Bandits JING 3 and Shaman King 4 plus Stephen King's Different Seasons, a book for my sis...

I *think* there were two movies, and they were both made-for-TV. I know for sure that there's at least ONE, and it's called "Is it Fall Yet?" and it's all about summer vacation. Daria goes to a summer camp to be a counselor, and meets this grade-school boy who hates everything or something like that...

(I can't believe I have to type all this *again!* *sigh*) I've just recently finished OotP (I had to wait til it came to paperback!), and I liked it. But, like most people (it seems), I thought that [spoiler]Sirius's death scene sucked. It was very quick, and that took away some of the emotion, I th...

The same friend who checked for volume one when it came out stopped by both Walmart and Hastings Wednesday, and neither place had them at the time. They probably have them by now, but I haven't been to either place. I'll probably go...this weekend. I'm gonna buy it! It'll take up space on my shelf! ...
