It's not 15 seconds long, but it IS noticeable, and a defect that ADV could have corrected. Thus, I see nothing wrong with wanting to return it; it's a defective disc and if it can be fixed, so be it.

Did you elect to have e-mails sent to you when a reply is made? If so, there's a post somewheres where Dan explains that the e-mail system isn't working at the moment. You might want to change this setting, if you have it enabled...

Whenever I turn off subtitles using WinDVD, they just go away...you must have some special discs there.

As Lucied said, you get English lyrics or Romanized lyrics every other episode (i.e., first is English, then Romanized, then English blah blah).

Romanized means Japanese spelled in English letters. So &#12414;&#12371;&#12392; (gotta love Global IME) becomes Makoto.

Since ADV is essentially recalling this disc, I would assume that later releases would have the glitch fixed. So if you're lucky, your Christmas present will be "yodeling" free!!
