Thanks for posting this, Tiff. I apologize if I've ever done this in the past, and hope not to fall into the trap again ^^;; You guys do a good job in running this site, so keep up the good work. I'll do my best not to make my posts too much of an inconvenience to the mods, myself ^^;;;

First: Yeah, go FISH! (see avatar :) Second: I completely agree with you, J. It's bewildering how the Cubs fans can be so incensed (sp?) against the fan for catching the ball (converting an out into a strike/foul), but not against the shortstop who fumbled the ball a few plays later, actually allowi...

I find Peter to be the funniest character on the show, if nothing else because A) he's Catholic, like me, and so irreverant about it, and B) he's from New England, and has the most stereotypical NE-Irish mix I've ever seen. Some of the lines he delivers have me on the floor laughing :) BTW (slight o...

I just finished watching Episode 4 raw, and I liked it. Nephrite looked a lot better than I thought he would, though I think his look would be more suited for Rubeus (he looks familiar, though...anyone know if he's done any acting roles in American films?). I'm also glad they kept in my favorite lin...

marspeach: The TV-Nihon sub doesn't have that audio glitch (different encoding). On my computer, there's a slight video delay in the opening credits, but nothing I'm going to lose sleep over ^^;;

Crap, I read my information backwards ><;

Regardless, it's supposed to be a side-by-side development of action figures and the cartoon, so it's tough to classify it as an American cartoon or a Japanese one.

Transformers: Armada was released previously in Japan as Transformers: The Micron Legend. It finished airing at the beginning of this year. Some people tend to think of it differently than most dubs, as the two were made in some sort of conjunction (i.e., copies of the original were sent over to the...

X-Men: Evolution is my favorite right now. It has it's blah episodes, but when it hits, it HITS. It has great writing and characterization, and some great AU re-tellings of the Marvel Universe.

Soldier Classification

Are the terms "Inner Soldiers" and "Outer Soldiers" ever used in the comic or cartoon, or are they something we fans made up to distinguish them?

Follow-up question coming soon...

I find this type of religious stick-to-it-ness a lot in older generations, personally: Recently, my family came up to visit us for my birthday, and so we took the obligatory trip to Salem (so much fun). Despite the informational tours and explinations about Wicca and what they do/don't believe, my g...

It's just hard for me to see acting that way as "being yourself." Unless you have some sort of innate tendency to hide your emotions under a facade of happiness, that is. It's not always easy to "be yourself", though, especially when society always wants you to look at "the bright side of things". ...

That's quite an ignorant comment to make, Rainbow...I know you'd not be saying that if you REALLY knew the characters mentioned in the above posts.

1. Nephrite gets killed by Zoisite's youma. This is the one and only time I've ever cried at a cartoon, and to this day I still get tears at the dialogue that Nephrite and Naru share. 2. Zoisite in Kunzite's arms. "I want to die beautifully"...goes to show you that love is love, regardless of whom i...

I'm a huge fan of rap and hip-hop, rap more than anything else. My favorites are B.I.G., 2-Pac, Jay Z, Eminem, and 50 Cent right now, although I'm starting to enjoy some joints from Pharaoh Monch, Nas, and Obie Trice :) Of course, I love the old-school stuff, like older LL Cool J, Run DMC, and such.
