Yes, the UK and Europe is on Region 2 like Japan. The only difference is Japan uses the same TV standard thingy as America (NTSC) and we use PAL (I think France uses SECAM, please correct me!) But most TVs these days can cope with NTSC so you should be able to watch it no problems. ;) This looks rea...

Be careful with installing previous versions of MSN messenger though. I believe only the latest two versions (6.1 and 6.2 I believe) are supported by microsoft because of apparent security and virus issues with the earlier versions. Basically, I think earlier versions of messenger no longer let you ...

I know I'm kinda breaking the discussion here, but I just read book 1 and i'm over halfway through book 2. The thing is, I remember a LOT of people complaining about how off the movies are compared to the books...........but...........Book 1 was almost exactly like movie 1 except for a few changes ...

Eep, I don't think I even know 10 Sailormoon songs! Anyway, I'll try my best with this: Favourites - 1. Motto Suteki na Asa ga Kuru yo 2. Otome no Policy 3. Moon Revenge 4. Sailor Stars Song 5. Ai no Senshi Reasons... 1. It has a nice melody to it and it just seems a light, happy song. 2. Same as ab...

Something new that has made the enemies list  Playlists. I don't know what the smeg they are, but they irritate me. You know when you're searching for an mp3 and you type it in and you get a lot of hits. Well I find that 80% of these hits are these playlist things. What is it? As far as I cou...

Hmm... interesting title! I wonder to whom the title is refering? I can't wait until the next story comes out. I was a little dissapointed with Order of the Phoenix, the middle draged on a bit too much, I only really liked the ending. But now the story looks like it's increasing pace towards the fin...

Wow, the covers look gorgeous! The artwork looks like it has been recoloured, it looks much better than the laserdiscs. I recognise the cover of the 2nd volume, I think it was used on the official site. :) I'd really like to get these... I think the whole set would cost about £160... £20 each, not b...

Re: Which came first?
Di-Gi Charat started as anime, I believe. In the manga, Digiko constantly references the anime, so that's what I'm assuming. and the DigiCharat manga came first. Digi Charat started as small, animated shorts created to promote a gaming store in the Akihibara gaming district. Digiko was the mascot f...

I'm not totally into Science Fiction, but there are a few I like. :) Futurama - Darker, but a lot funnier than the Simpsons. Wish they didn't end it after just 5 seasons... Red Dwarf - Ah... Red Dwarf... everytime I see the infamous polymorph-underpants scene (I will say no more) I burst out laughin...

Although I still can't figure out why her civillian form has a tail 0__o; -_- or why nobody seems to notice or care. That really happens? I thought people were just joking about that... now that is odd. :? OK, what were they thinking when they came up with that?!? You think one person on the street...

Don't think I've posted here either... Anyway, hands down winner is episode 184 (Night Bewteen Us! Usagi's Pinch) in the Sailor Stars season. :) And here's why ;) [spoiler]OK, I know this is just a filler episode, but a damn funny filler episode! The whole Seiya-towel scene, the cockroach panic atta...

First about Tiff's way of running the forum: Personally, yeah, I feel Tiff and all the moderators are doing a great job running this forum. The forum is very neat and it's easy to find information, not having to search through tonnes of pointless posts and threads. The fact that the rules are strict...

*glomps* every time I see a message in English saying the person likes French, I can't help glomping the author. LOL! Yay! I've been glomped! *feels so special* LOL! I've heard a lot about Utada Hikaru and have always wanted to hear her music. It's quite hard in britain to get J-pop or J-rock CDs a...

Hmm, not really sure I can comment, the only J-pop I've heard has been anime soundtracks and an album by Chemistry that a guy from school was kind enough to give me a copy of. :) I do like the music but again it's not my favourite, I'm more into trance and rock music. Though I was amazed at how many...

I saw the Harry Potter yesterday and it was an amazing film, but I can agree with your critisisms (sp?) Here's what I thought was good: [spoiler]I thought Rupert Grint's performance as Ron was his best yet and he was so funny, I can see him becoming a great comic actor in the future. Emma Watson was...

I agree, it's kind of annoying when people use a japanese word in a conversation to sound cool when an english word would fit just as well. And usually they get the meaning wrong anyway. I don't mind if they are trying but when they just do it to be cool that's what bugs me. A little thing I find ki...
