It is true that GCN is more kid-friendly than the other consoles, it was even advertised that way in Reader's Digest. And I say that perverted games ARE revolutionizing the world. More bouncing breasts, please. Because it's Reader's Digest. I doubt they'd run an ad for a system if the ads claimed "...

I recently picked up on the series myself, after finding an MPEG of the Utena movie on a CD-ROM set I purchased. Seemed good enough, so I purchased Black Rose Blooms at Best Buy. Watched the first 2 episodes, loved it. I found the movie on DVD, in a pink case at Media Play. Got that for $10 off afte...

I'm fairly sure CN is only running Totally Spies at this point in a weak attempt to compete with the ratings for Kim Possible.

Speaking of the seller I bought mine from, I contacted him about the possibility of an R bootleg set. He says that right now, he only has Stars... but he's looking into getting the other series' in a similar format. Which I have no doubt will be available, I'm fairly sure classic is already boottleg...

You can probably find some better deals though if you check local stores. KB(and KB toy outlet), if they have them, will sell them dirt cheap as they're over 2 year old stock. Biggs might be a good place to check, as well, as they have a somewhat poor inventory rotation. Meaning, old stuff usually j...

I used to see Pokemon and DBZ VHS at Wal-Mart. But lately, not counting the Miyazaki stuff(which they no doubt got due to Disney anyway), I've seen SM, Cowboy Bebop, Rahxephon, Chobits, etc. Usually one volume of each, I guess a sampler. Saw the same at Target plus Love Hina.

SuperS saturating Wal-Mart

I know some people's Wal-Marts got in the boxsets, but locally, and, it seem a majority, only got in SuperS volume 7 as part of an anime selection that Wal-Mart and Target picked up. So what do I see today at Wal-Mart? SuperS vol. 6, for $9.92, same price as 7. Unusual, considering they've has 7 sin...

It's not unusual for a fried chicken brand to have a cartoon chicken for a mascot. It's also like that old SNL bit(think Steve Martin era) where a cartoon chicken not only pushes a fried chicken restaurant, but outlines the entire process from cooking to the... digestion.

PETA's been digging into old Nazi Germany propaganda files for ideas, it looks like. This is barely a step down from PETA members committing murder to try and further their cause(which I have no doubt a few of their members would be crazy enough to do).

Jadeite and Beryl look reasonably close. But I think even Jadeite loses out a bit. They could have found a better wig. Personally, I wonder if the 4 Shitennou were drawn with the idea they were supposed to be Japanese. I sometimes get the impression of "no", I half believe they were meant to look mo...

Is it just me, or did they just give up on trying to make Nephrite look like he should? Saying he doesn't look like his anime counterpart isn't enough... more like, a rejected Pyro costume idea from the X-Men movies. It looks like something that should have been saved for Rubeus if the show makes it...

Between unreleased material, remixes, and the ability to sample his voice from songs, I don't think he's recording new material.

Local comic shop has a lot of them, so I'm guessing they still make them.

Oddly, a few of the cards use monsters/scenes from episodes that were cut from US airings.

There's also a demo of Wind Waker on the disc. It's 3 pre-saved games, probably the same thing used in store demo copies.

I got mine today. Supposedly, the street date on these isn't for 2 days but TRU broke it. It's not boxed with the system, they simply scan it when you buy the system. The 2 NES Zeldas are exact copies of the originals. The 2 N64 Zeldas have slightly enhanced details, better than the N64 versions. I'...
