I'm not sure what happened to the controls in the first, unless it just hates the Gamecube controller. The other 3 play fine.

If you want more Zelda characters, Darnia (yes, it's the same as "Darunia", which is his name romanized from katakana), Princess Ruto, Nabooru, and Skull Kid should be in it. Maybe even Saria, but all she has is her Fairy Ocarina...maybe powers can be added to it solely for the game? Originally pos...

I think Nintendo only wants to use characters they own. Which explains why Conker and Joanna Dark weren't in it even when Rare was still with them, Rare owns those characters. I doubt they'd go through the trouble of licensing from Sega when they still have a vast library of their own(Kid Icarus com...

Ganondorf should have the ability to turn into Ganon, the way Zelda can change into Sheik. And if we can have Pokemon, we should get to play as a Metroid. Ridley and Team Rocket as well.

Samus should also have an alternate Fusion costume.

Forgot about Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Despite getting a 2-disc Criterion DVD it still remains an unheard of cult hit. Johnny Depp pulls off the role of Hunter S. Thompson nicely. 3 others- Gen 13- an animated film based on the comic, it was finished around 1997, hyped by Wizard... but never r...

Greatest movies you've never seen

Looking at my DVD collection, I have a few movies that are at best, cult favorites. Stuff that probably only came my way by means of accidental viewing. So, what are some of these movies? Man and Boy- Bill Cosby's first film, a drama set in the 1800s, after the cival war. Cosby plays a Union war vet...

I kinda lean towards the anime on the whole. Manga villains tend to drop faster than a Sentinel army in X-Men, for one. And I'm still not entirely clear on what happened at the very end...

But the current translation is also not always on par.

I can't stand JAG. The concept of Law and Order: Navy isn't that great anyway, but the acting is rather subpar if you ask me. I tried to like Cracker, a British crime drama. But for a crime drama, it moves as slow as possible. I've also stopped watching Pokemon. The first 12 episodes of that show we...

I've grown a bit intolerant to the new Masters of the Universe. What coul dhave been an excellent show was ruined by poor time slots, as well as a lot of deu sex machina plot resolutions. They developed a bad habit of introducing a lot of new Masters only to have them vanish, and while Skeletor push...

If anything, I think he was glad to surrender just to get out of that hole in the ground. He didn't even try to resist. But again, this is mirroring the fall of Nazi Germany, Saddam watched his power and hold of terror evaporate, his wealth gone, and he was living in a hole in the ground. except Hit...

Well, you can still buy most of the Pioneer stuff easily. As in another thread, Wal-Mart is getting in SuperS. Suncoast and FYE should have a few, and Media Play still has most of the Pioneer stuff including the Dream Box movie set. They're even ordering it, evident by the copy of S vol 5 I saw Satu...

I kinda gave up on the Simpsons a while back. Though I'd have watched it last night of CC wasn't showing The Hebrew Hammer.

Teela from the new He-Man cartoon has taken on the same "long brown ponytail/tough girl" angle which Makoto has.

We are getting a Mega Man game collection and a Sonic game collection on the Gamecube. And Metroid was available on the Gamecube as well(it's a Metroid Prime bonus- to access it, you have to use a GBA-GC link cable with a copy of Metroid Fuion that you've beaten). Though there is Metroid Zero Missio...

Considering that I've already ordered copies of the last 2 Pioneer discs I need, and since S vol 5 won't be out in the reasonable future anyway, I have no reason to buy these.

I get the impression though that Saddam is going to do his Goering imersonation at his trial, sticking with his beliefs until the end. In other words, we're looking at Nuremberg all over again. Whch may not be such a bad thing.

Wal-Mart and Target may have old stock. But there haven't been any dolls made recently. My Wal-Mart clearanced out the 6" dolls after Christmas 2001. I picked up all but Jupiter(which I found later at Blockbuster) and Tuxedo mask(the only one they had was in a horribly mangled box, and I leave mine ...

I saw a number of the S1 sets on eBay for the $30-$40 price range. But even considering it's just an ADV rip, het, it's about $100 less. Though depending on which revision they ripped, you may still get the ep 24 shaking. Granted, you could get that anyway... but on the plus side, you probably won't...

The only new cartoons that don't have some sort of anime influence tehse days are Justice League/Batman/etc(the Bruce Timm/Paul Dini stuff) which is meant to look more like 50s artwork, and few others. Though Teen Titans is Timm meets anime. Kim Possible is another good one. Stylistically, it remind...
