I know about that scene (though I haven't gotten that far yet myself), I was just questioning the phrase she used... LOL! Well I was chanting "Do the jealous dyke thing!" as I have been witness to a scene very similar to that many times myself IRL (AND had to deal with it) involving jealous dykes. ...

Guess I'm going to jump on the Seiya/Usagi bandwagon. I dunno, I just love love Mamoru and Usagi in teh Manga but he just seems too distant for my taste in the anime. Besides, seeing Seiya and Usagi interact just makes me laugh and giggle like nobody's business. Seiya is my favorite Starlight. I lov...

I just got the SailorStars season on DVD and just seeing it, in my opinion there is NO WAY they would be able to air this on TV here in the U.S., not without majorly screwing it up with editing and cutting which would probably leave it at a final product making no sense what-so-ever. Another 2 cents...

I think it's that they both win. I'm not sure, but I think there are two different phrases that both mean "delicious" and one means "horse chef wins" and the other means "pig chef wins." The full answer can be found at a site called "Makenai" that's all about SailorStars, and I don't have a link fo...

Sailor Moon was the only animated feature I really got very attached to the characters. Haruka kind of resembles a grrl I am dating now (and NO! that's not WHY I am dating her, but it sure doesn't hurt! heehee). But Setsuna is mmmm mmmm good in my book. Forshame, one Disney character (ok, I will und...

Parents do seem to lose their minds when it comes to school. I remember in Elementary and Middle school whenever my grades would suffer I would not be permitted to watch ANY TV or play video games during the week. However, I found it I was struggling with a subject I would let them know beforehand b...

I'm 23, and what I like about my age I'm not "old" (although many of you here will probably disagree w/ me here! LOL). I'm still at a point where people tell me "you're still young, got plenty of time, no need to make any major life decisions just yet, no need to settle down, etc. etc." I'm old enou...

Most online Japanese bookstores carry them.
What other online Japanese bookstores are there that sort of have English translating?

WHere and how did you guys order the new Japanese volumes? are these reprints of the stories? And I agree on the quality of the Japanese versus the American translations, esp since I have 3 volumes of the original Japanese mangas and to compare them to my Mixx publications. I hate how we're such a "...

This may be a lil' biases talking here due to the fact that I myself am a lesbian but I do like Michiru & Haruka. They are sexual but not in a very obvious, exploitive way. It's still kept subliminal in my opinion. And hey! They're both hot!!! And I like Usagi & Mamoru in the manga, love 'em love 'e...

Blizzard of 95!!!!

Yes, it takes me back. Freshman year of good ol' high school, winter of 1995, snowed in and having an extension on my Christmas vacation, I saw Sailor Moon on UPN or WB (I forget which ) and somehow I got hooked, like a soap opera. Beforehand though I recall reading an article in Newsweek about Anim...

What if, Haruka and Michiru found a way for the two of them to put their genes into a child... who would carry it? I'd say Michiru. Michiru seems more like the type who would, and I just can't imagine Haruka being pregnant... *Snorts with insane laughter at imagining Haruka pregnant* Um, yes, I hav...
