I still love InuYasha, but this is the one thing that really annoys me about sometimes. Does Kagome have to run off back to her own time every few episodes only to come back? They really need to do something with Kikyo too.

Maybe R if you mean only the Black Moon arc, but the Makaiju arc was pretty much all filler. I'd go with either S or Stars. Probably Stars because it's the shortest.

I've only seen the Cartoon Network version, but I've enjoyed it. I wouldn't put it near the top of my all-time favorite anime, but it's enjoyable enough. I do agree that the female characters could be better developed.
