Cowboy Bebop and other series by Watanabe look a bit more "realistic". And I second the recommendation for Perfect Blue above - it's DEFINITELY a mindfuck of a movie, but it was also really, really good.

And a followup: My copy of Phoenix Wright: Justice for All did arrive on Saturday. I spent the entire rest of the weekend playing - I'm running on very little sleep, but it was SO worth it in the end. If you own a DS, I can't recommend the series highly enough. Two of the best games I've ever played...

Did you order from Lik-Sang? I know they're like the biggest importer, and I ask because if you did, you really need to check on it. Because of Sony, they got shut down (making it offical that I am never buying a Sony product again). So you should check to see if it got shipped before that happened...
