If you like action and sci-fi (and if you liked Chobits), I high recommend Elfen Lied (although it's not released in the US yet). It has lots of gore, nudity, but in the normal scenes, it's very cute, very much like Chobits. No transformations though. Pure sci-fi.

It's funny when I think back to ROD OVA's fansub days. Many fansubbers subbed "Nenene" on the notes to "Hey! Hey! Hey!" or something to that extent. How did the official DVD sub it?

So if you keep a DVD rental for more than 50 days, they automatically charge your credit card for the retail cost of the DVD? Do they notify you about that? It would be bad if they charged you for the DVD and you didn't know about it and returned it. But not having the actual DVD box sucks.

I finished the series! It wasn't as good as the OVA action-wise. After watching the OVA, I think most people would be looking for action.
