I like both the dub and the Japanese versions of Sailor Moon, so I think that either way you'll enjoy it. The Japanese version takes a while to get used to with subtitles...when I first started, I had to sometimes pause to read them. Though if you can read at a good pace, you shouldn't have a proble...

I think it's supposed to be Cloverway that represents Toei in the U.S. Cloverway is, if I'm correct, a U.S. hub of sorts for Toei Animation anime, who were originally set up to distribute Toei-produced works to various networks. In the case of Sailor Moon S and SuperS, it was to Cartoon Network.

Sure DIC wasn't that great, but it's better than none, right? Not according to some fans. Some of them wished that Sailor Moon was never dubbed at all, thereby "purifying" the fanbase with those who've only see the original Japanese version, which I find to be a load of crap. I'd rather have a R1 D...

I really don't like modern rap. It seems like a contest now of how many swear words you can put in a song than about good lyrics or even understandable singing. I also can't tolerate any pop bands / pop divas that have emerged since 1997: Spice Girls, Hanson, both Simpson girls, Britney Spears, Avri...

Without magic, the only ones who could fight would be Makoto, Haruka, and maybe Rei. And they would be defeated rather quickly if the enemies are strong enough.

Also, is it just me, or the character designs look a little...more cutesy and childish than the OAVs and movie?

I love Drawn Together. Possibly the best new animated show that came out this year. Like many others, my favorite character is Ling Ling.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories- not since I played Final Fantasy VIII has it been a bigger chore for me to get through a game. Cheap enemies, lame music, boring, freakishly slow story, and only two new areas not already in the original game.

Thanks DiC, for releasing Sailor Moon into English, and for increasing interest in the Japanese version (even if it was because many fans found the dub to be horrid). And both thanks and no thanks to Toei: thanks for making the wonderful series, and no thanks for being hell-bent in denying the exist...

I think the only difference would be in keeping in the Japanese music, and keeping in a couple of the skipped episodes from season one. Everything else would be the same, as Optimum dubbed all 4 seasons and the movies anyway, both under DiC and Cloverway's control.

I'd complain about the English covers too, but the fact that Midori no Hibi got picked up at all for an English release fills me with so much joy I don't even care!

All the male leads from any Tanemura Arina work look like identical brothers seperated at birth. Chiaki, Takuto, etc. look very much the same, with slight differences in height and hair color.

I thought there were three character designers: one for Classic and R, one for S and SuperS, and one for Stars. I know at least that the first character designer only worked on the first two seasons before he went on to Wedding Peach.

Not in Philadelphia, at least. Around here, we've just been getting rain, broken up by a couple of nice days, then rain again. It's like this in winter too, except replace the word "rain" with "snow".
