I like PGSM Rei best. The actress is cute and her character is neither as annoying as her anime counterpart nor as boring as the Manga version. The conflict with her father is really fleshed-out there and her vaguely yuri-ish relationship with Minako is great.;) I love Anime Rei's relationship with ...

Did the anime ever actually say that time went backwards? I thought the Inners were just reincarnated without any memory of their lives as Sailor Soldiers? I don't think it did, but I think it is implied. Usagi would of met Mamoru already, even if they had no memories of being Sailor Soldiers. And ...

US dub: no idea Anime Mamoru is undoubtely one of the worst characters in the entire series. The costumes, the roses, the speeches..everything about him is ridiculous. :? Lijke the Moonlight Knight outfit and the Santa Claus costume. WTF. Not to mention he gets brainwashed every five minutes and let...

My first enounter was the German dub around 1995..First season, the Cruise episode, I think. I had no idea what was going on and thought that Sailor Moon and "Jedite" were going to be lovers. After that, I missed all of the show until episode 30, which finally got me hooked because Rei was so awesome.

Definetely Pluto. We really don't know a thing about her. There are victims of the day who get more character development than poor Setsuna. :( Hotaru also has about five lines of dialogue in total in Stars, but at least she appears a lot in S. Also the Inner Senshi after S. Technically not since th...

These are nothing compared to the awful attack names that the German dub uses, though (the rest of the fub is decent, but the attack names are just plain stupid and confusing). For example, World Shaking is simply called "Uranus" and Deep Submerge is "Neptune"..no one knows why. :? . Jupiter ...

Actually, she only sees Sailor Moon in her dream. I guess Usagi saved her from the Youma and tried to wake her up and she subconsciously noticed her in her half-delirious state *shrug*. Doesn't matter, it's really just supposed to look pretty.;) Though it's interesting that she immediately recognize...

I like PGSM Usagi best by far. The actress is charming and cute and I just really like her characterization. She can actually fight capably on her own, but still has lots of funny moments. She seemed most like a normal, romantic and slighty hyper teenager here without being overly boycrazy and silly...

Classic Liked: The series that got me hooked. Everything was still new and interesting. The series just had a certain "feel" to it that was lost later (can't explain it). All Senshi get character development (except maybe poor Makoto and Minako who show up way too late). Usagi iss still a normal gir...

I just noticed just how little sense the break-up in R makes. Why the hell would King Endymion "test" Mamoru and Usagi, that's just stupid. He should know perfectly well that Mamoru really loves Usagi, considering that he IS Mamoru. And if he had somehow managed to break them up for good, he would h...

 I can just see the scenario... "Haruka, there's an enemy at Usagi's school. Shouldn't we...go to help out?" "Aww, no..we always stand in the background anyway while Sailor Moon twirls her scepter around for three minutes. I know something MUCH more fun we could do...*naughty grin*" Meanwhile, ...

Indeed. For some reason, I always found the four of them more interesting than Usagi, so that kind of ruined the series for me. That's why I enjoy PGSM so much, they all have their own motivations and opinions about things there. Not to mention the poor Outer Senshi. What exactly are they *doing* du...

Another thing I noticed;) Is it just me, or is PGSM Minako supposed to be Christian? We see her praying in a church and in the Act Zero special, she's singing a Christmas song. I know that Japanese like to celebrate Christmas for fun because they think it's exotic or something, but she seems pretty ...

I noticed in PGSM that -Usagi uses her disguise-phone in the middle of a crowded street to put on dresses and nobody notices -Ami and Rei call Usagi "Tsukino-san" right in front of Tux and he's still suprised a couple of episodes later that she's Sailor Moon, -and Motoki never seems to wonder where ...

It depends on whoever did the episode, I think. You can really tell the drawing styles apart if you look closely. There's this one "artist" whose style is just plain AWFUL :? (episode 71, for example). The best one IMO is whoever drew episode 86, 99 and a few others. SuperS's animation is generally ...

No, that was the sucking people into the ground-youma. :) Speaking of Kiss, is there a particularly reason why the girls always do the "heavy metal" hand movement when they pose? I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, but it's quite funny. :D (I mean this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/com...

I do see your point about the Inners protecting the Starlights. Now that I think about it, it IS their duty to protect Usagi. You could call it touching that Mars is the one to protect Usagi, but it's sort of strange that the other three would momentarily abandon that duty to protect the Starlights...

And there's that one from episode 16 or something that looks like a member of KISS.sailorperkytoot123 wrote:Oh God, the propeller youma....and that bouncing youma that Ami tries to fight on her own. They were always good for a laugh, whether or not they were meant to be funny.
