I think this is weird,

Post by Mattio » Wed Jul 28, 2004 3:33 pm

I keep hearing about this show. So I decided to check it out.

I think this is one of the weirdest things I have ever seen. Can somebody please fill me on what the shows set up is? Is it any good? It just looks so dumb!

http://www.sailormoon.ws/serecindra/act159.jpg this picture looks HALARIOUS! What the hell is this!

nevermind the picture wont go through. It was a picture of luna on serena's bed, and she was scared of a doll or something.

DOes anybody know where I can get episode 1?

You should go back to the beginning of the thread and read up on what you missed.

-_- While I do realize that this topic is 46 pages long, you could have at least ATTEMPTED to read through and figure out the answers to your questions. I can almost guarantee that by the end of page 1, you'd have your answers.

I'm finally able to download the episodes again and I just finished watching act 42 today!
I thought the episode was quite powerful when Usagi relealed everything to Naru when she was in the hospital. Meanwhile, it seems that the youma still isn't defeated yet.
Act 43 is wonderful. I love the Usagi and Mamoru moments. They are so sweet. This episode is so romantic and touching.

I agree, epsiode 43 was very romantic. I'm a sucker for romance. ^_^

I did miss a lot of episodes though. TVNihon doesn't have episodes 4-34. Does anyone know where I can get these for BitTorrent fansubbed? Its too bad, TVNihon does a good job fansubbing.

They're still over at TV-N's old site, but good luck getting seeds.

EDIT: And Act 43 is subbed and up at http://torrents.tvnihon.com.

Bwahaha! Act 43 was the most romantic episode ever. Why?
THEY FINALLY KISSED!
I'm sorry, but I *cannot* tell you how happy I am that they actually kissed. When it got to the romantic bits, I was yelling at the computer screen. O.o "I'VE ALREADY SEEN YOU HUGGING! KISS! COME ONE!" And they did! *_*
But another thing...Endymion's shoulder pad thingys remind me of tacky lampshades. O.O

Dave : Cost?
Mr. James : 10 million dollars.
Dave : Result?
Mr. James : Extreme set back.
Dave : Milk?
Mr. James : Spilled.
Dave : Gonna cry about it?
Mr. James : Not even.
Dave : I''m sitting on a rather sharp tack.
Mr. James : That's gotta hurt.
Dave : Well, life's a bitch...
Mr. James : ...And then you die.
Dave : My...
Mr. James : ...oh...
Dave : ...my.

I'm having a problem viewing episodes past Act.32
(the one where Mamoru returns from England just in time to save Usagi).
The video is very choppy. I am at a loss as to which codecs I need. If this has been addressed already, I am sorry, but it is very difficult to dig through a thread this long.

TV-N has a whole guide to their codecs and stuff here. And if it's still choppy, once the codec's installed you can use VirtualDub to reencode it to a codec you like, or TMPGEnc to take it to an mpg.

Download http://athos.leffe.dnsalias.com/ffdshow-20040508.exe . FFDSHOW has all the codecs in it where you can select which codecs to use. Install ffshow which has all the codecs you need in one. Everything will be solved.

Act 43 is the most romantic act ever. I remember how I downloaded it right away, the second it was released and watched it right away. Their were so many romantic moments and surprises and I kept watching excitedly, wondering what would happen next. I was so excited when I was watching it. I kept wondering what would happen, and felt so great during each moment. The Usagi and Mamoru moments are so romantic in this episode. I remember the excited feeling I got and how happy I was during special moments and how surprised I was during some moments and how romantic and happy I felt during lots of moments.
Usagi and Mamoru are my favorite couple ever. Usagi and Mamoru forever!

After watching 44...MY HEAD A SPLODE.
Why is PGSM turning into one of those shows where everybody dies? I don't have enough Kleenex for that!

44 is good. It's very good. But keep the Kleenex nearby. I stopped crying at the beginning at the Usagi/Mamoru mush recollections, got most of the way through okay, then cried all the way through Zoicite's death through to the end. Poor guy.... I saw elsewhere where someone mentioned "Y'know, maybe it's one of those things where he's more powerful in death than in life." And that may be true, but dammit, I LIKE PGSM Zoicite more than any of his other incarnations, and I didn't want him to die!

Dead on, Ni-ban. Even my eyes got misty when he faded away, and I finally forgive him for killing Nephrite in the anime. I hope he'll be revived before the series ends. I think he will. But with the 45 preview showing Venus's problems transforming, I also think we're in for a lot of tragedy before things get good again. I just hope they spoend at least one full act on cleaning up all the loose ends--Naru, Motoki&Mako, Rei and her father, Minako's illness, et cetera.
Well, I've only watched up until Episode 39 so don't quote me on this but.....
As with Nephrite I believe Zoicite may have an earthly double or shadow. As you recall, Beryl forced Nephrite to kill himself but in episides afterwards he seems to have reverted back to his former human self. So don't be too upset by Zoicite's apparent death.
Oh and as far as your last few comments go, there needs to be some things saved for Season 2.

At this point, it does not look like there WILL be a season 2. The time slot for the show has already been occupied with another "Ultraman" series in October, which apparently means that PGSM has not been picked up for another year. Ratings have been less than stellar, and the toy sales have not gone as well as Bandai and TOEI had expected. If we do see something, it won't be for quite a while.

*nods* Plus Jay over at Genvid noted that somewhere (I have to look it up again where) that it was said sometime this summer that the series would only last through 50 episodes. So once Act 50 airs, that's the end of PGSM unless something happens farther along down the road.
