Fred Ladd talks about Sailor Moon...

Well, I bet this won't be news of the year here, but back in 2007, two guys and a girl talked to Fred Ladd about his career in dubbing. And in the second part (which I'll link coming up), Fred talked about his experience as the "creative consultant" of the show. And in the process, he talks about the violence in the show, why he enjoyed the characters, and how he was supposed to take the show in his hands, along with others. It's pretty interesting, even if you don't learn much.

I don't remeber that scene in Sailor Moon with the tentacle flower. o____o

Was it Sailor Moon R the movie??

It would have to be the movie, because I don't remember any tentacle flowers in the series... Unless it was a reference to that "DD Girl" that got Jupiter. She had vine-y tentacles, IIRC.

didn't one of the witches 5 use a flower monster to attack? I remember Tuxedo Mask saying something about stealing his signature move or something. That could be it.

Might he be thinking about the scene in 46 where the brainwashed Mamoru traps Moon in vines and electrocutes her then grabs her off the ground by her neck and chokes her? Perhaps he doesn't remember completely...
