As an Apathetic Agnostic I believe that if God does exist, then God doesn't care about us anyway. Which is probably why I have never read the bible. Also I believe anybody is entitled to their beliefs including being homosexual, bisexual and heterosexual.

How can anybody see love as evil? If they love each other let them be.

And I also hate stereotypes. I sit alone during my English Literature class because I don't know anybody in that group and, just last week, I heard this loud B*tch on another table say "She's got no friends" Just because i'm quiet and I don't talk to people because i'm shy, they assume I have no friends. I always try not to be judgemental but with people like her around it's hard.

Well it looks like scientists have learned that sexual orientation is hard wired into the brains of worms: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21475945/ I wonder what this could possibly mean for human sexuality...

Who cares if your gay!! Everyone on this planet is the same!!! Nobody can be treated less than others just because of sexual orientation. Gay people are not outcasts, they are not "its", they are regular human beings!

Oh and by the way, im NOT gay, im just very nice.

Please dont take this as a Knock sailor_moon_r im just going to use what you said as a basis for something that bugs me.

People tend to have to throw in the "im not gay" when they defend gay people or try to show that they are opened minded when it comes to all views. For some reason that always bugs me. Its right up there to me with people who have to state they have friends of a different race or gay family members just to say hey im open minded. whats next? wearing tags to say what your preferences are or that your not a certain way but Go gay team? ugh I know I put in some of my post that im straight to and I realize now "who cares?" when push comes to shove im not the type of person who lets out what goes on in my bedroom anyway so it really shouldnt matter. I think when people stop making sexual preference such a big deal then we can focus on stopping bias all together.

And there are nice in all people just like there are jerks I know a few people sexual preferance asside that after a few minutes with them you just want to kick their ass. Condescending people always push my buttons.

Bravo.

This is why I don't understand the whole "sexual preference" thing. Sleep with who you're attracted to/dating/etc, whether it's man or woman. Why do people have to have a straight/gay/bisexual label to them?

I have slept with two men (my ex fiancee and my current husband), and one woman. I refuse to call myself "bisexual". I chose to be intimate with those people for my own reasons, and not becuase I'm OMG BISEXUAL.

And hell, the fact that I slept with a woman doesn't mean I'd ever date one (provided I weren't married, that is =P). I don't get along with women in general. I get along with men, and have more male friends than female. I could never see myself dating a woman. So why does the fact that I fucked one have to make me "bisexual"?

I never understood that either its like there is a huge need to label things. What you do to get your freak on is none of my buisness unless ya happen to make a movie and I watch it lol. But then again theres a difference between porn and knowing what gets my neighboor's motor running. I just dont see why people need to know who im attracted to or not. And its like Tiff said I dont think many people can honestly say they have not looked at least once at someone of the same sex and said wow that person is attractive. Ya know that whole who would you do if you could thing or gay crush as they call it.

And ya know it used to be who you have sex with was a private matter now its become fodder for religion and politics and its ridiculos. If anything labeling only makes it more easier for sterotypes and bigotry to keep going. Nothing makes you stand out more then saying "Im different" when point blank were all people and the things that make us different may make us unique but some of them things we should keep between ourselves and the people involved Ie intimacy.

My friend will often say things like "I love you, not in a gay way, but if you were gay i woudn't mind" ... Why tell me you are not gay. I never insinuated you were so why say that?

She and my other friend also sometimes joke and say things to each other like "Lesbian" as if it is some kind of insult, to which I reply "What's wrong with being a lesbian" and She will say "Nothing"

It is not fun to joke about people's sexuality, that is one of my pet peeves about my pals.

I was at a Victoria's secret the other day trying on some sleepwear and I heard someone say "There's some queer in the fitting room."

naturally I didn't appreciate this. I just don't get why the clothes I enjoy wearing and sleeping in "automatically" makes me gay in peoples eyes, when the two subjects are completely unrelated.

It's amazing how close minded people are. I guess its partially society's fault with the whole drilling of manliness into boys, and anything feminine they might enjoy is either "queer" or is "going to turn you gay son."

And yes I have heard that sentence said before >.<

-_- What a polite and tactful thing to say out loud in front of said "queer".

People have no sense of common decency. Think what you want, but learn to keep your fat mouths shut at least until the person you're offending is out of earshot.

Though I have a burning curiosity...Victoria's Secrets allows men in the dressing rooms? I think it's neat, but I just had no idea they did.

I agree about how OMGMANLINESS is constantly burned into little boys .It's like when I was teaching last year, and my aide was 100% against me letting the boys make easter bonnets even though they WANTED THEM. Also, she like...REFUSED to let them use any tissue paper other than like...blue and green. It was insane. Oh noez, the paper plate hats and the tissue paper will MAKE THEM TEH GAY.

On a less serious side-note, now I can't stop wondering what kind of sex lives my elementary school teachers had. :P

Yeah, I too am gay and everyone blames it on the stuff I like such as art, video games, and books. It's like in order to be of male gender you have to act like a dumb macho jerk and constaintly want to sexually harass all the girls in the school.

What really makes me mad is how my Mom tries to convince me I'm not gay by saying "But you never ask any boys out," or "You have more girls as friends then guys,". Maybe the reason I don't ask guys out is because I'm constaintly hearing everyone at school use the term "Gay" as an insult and I hear about people getting beat-up all the time for not acting like a typical "man"? Maybe I'm closer to girls because girls are more excepting of people's differences then guys are? And I'm not saying all guys are that bad, but I blame the media for the way it tells guys how they should act. Guys are just as big a victim of the media as girls are because they're told that unless they act tough and perverted then they're nobodies.

Im sorry you go threw that Jeff, and its sad what the hell is wrong with people. You are no different a person then they are, save your preferance. And come on how can you champion a jail bird over someone who loves someone of the same sex? Sorry Id take the person whos private life is none of my buisness over the male who would stick a gun in my face and take my money or worst. It just boggles my mind what people think are "evil" compared to truly evil things.

Some people in this world really do suck and I just wish Natural selection would do its job already. Too many ignorant asses out there for my liking.

My friend William is gay and I was his only real friend until last year. I remember it used to make me soooo mad that some people were nice to them when we were by ourselves, but around other people they'd be completely obnoxios. I also remember that everyone was always nice to me (I don't really know why, but they were), but they would ALWAYS insult William. He was just too sweet to let me yell at them.

By the way, he is sooo funny. We were in New York once and we were alone on the street in front of one store. This dude handed him a flyer that had all these really skimpy dressed women on it. He hates that, so he went up to the guyand said "I don't know if you noticed, but I'm a homosexual and this ad doesn't really appeal to me. Do you have any men?" I<3 William like a brother!!!

ok. rant is over.
The Music of the Night and Tuxedo Mirage are what keep me from going completely INSANE! (right...)

I know the subject has moved on here but I still want to answer your question

Both Victoria's Secret and Fredericks of Hollywood allow men in the dressing rooms, and in fact I heard from a friend who used to work at victoria's that they specifically tell their employees to not only expect male customers but how to act towards them. I dont know if this is true of all those stores but it at least is for the ones near me and I find it very comforting.

Victoria's actually has stuff that fits too, Fredericks not so much lol
