I'm writing this Sailor Moon/Green Lantern crossover AU fic called "Emerald Sunrise". It's a hybrid of Action/Adventure, Sci-Fi, Romance, and Comedy. It's about Ami (Sailor Mercury) getting a new boyfriend who just happens to be a member of The Green Lantern Corps. I'm also throwing in some other characters from other animes and some old Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the late '60's early '70's. I'm also illustrating it as well. Wish me luck. I'm gonna need it.

I'm guessing some sort of science fictiontype stars?

Mark Lenard was known for his appearances in Star Trek (mainly as Sarek, father of Spock)
Marina Sirtis played Counselor Deanna Troi in Star Trek: The Next Generation
Robin Curtis is probably best known for playing the role of Lt. Saavik (originated by Kirstie Alley) in Star Trek III and IV
Denise Crosby is best known for her appearances as Lt. Natasha Yar in ST:TNG and also hosted the documentary Trekkies.
Richard Hatch was Apollo in the original run of Battlestar Galactica. He has nothing to do with the tax evader from that dumb show that somehow is still getting made.

I met he band members of ATC once if a disbanded band counts as a celebrity. I also at one time met Kimberly Wyatt of the PussyCat dolls once. I was very lucky to have seen her. Finally, at a Soap Convention I attended a little while ago, I met Hillary B Smith, The actress that plays Nora Hanen Buchanan on "One Life to Live."

My grandma told me this morning, that she actually used to go to school with Dennis Hopper. She didn't say if it was elementary or high school though.

I met Jesse Metcalfe once. He was Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald on Passions. My friends hated me for a very long time after that, but who cares? I met a soap star!

Isn't he better remembered for playing John in Desperate Housewives?

Maybe she doesn't watch Desperate Housewives? Passions may be the only thing that she's seen him in thus the only show she can identify with him in it.

It's like Kevin Bacon. I know Kevin Bacon has starred in a lot of things, but I always refer to him as "That guy from Tremors". It's my favorite movie that he's done and I identify him with it.
And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

XD

I'm the same way. If I think of Kevin Bacon, I think of Tremors.

I met Charles Barkley when I used to work at the casino. He was a jerk tho. He kept takin money out of the bank (which I was in charge of giving to him) and he kept giving me dirty looks. I guess it's cause he kept losing. I just kept giving him dirty looks right back. lol

It was crazy tho he kept getting markers (money request from the bank) of $100,000 and up. I was like wow.

I saw Hugh Jackman in NYC. Unfortunately, I was on a bus, and he was just getting out of a play and surrounded by reporters and paparazzi. I took a picture, but because of the flash reflecting off the bus window, all you can see is a red cap, lol.

I got an Autographed CD from Brian Vanderark. He used to be the lead singer of The Verve Pipe, but now he's gone solo. The Verve Pipe is fairly well known in Michigan, but I'm pretty sure they've received national recognition for "The Freshman."

Also, if anybody is familiar with the band Mustard Plug, they're from Michigan also, but I know they've done the Warped Tour. Their current bass player is Rick Johnson, and he used to come into the Subway I worked at all the time. He does basement shows at a friend of mine's house all the time with his side project "Rick Johnson Rock and Roll Machine".

Yeah, I know, not a big deal for a lot of them. :(

Well, I met Caroline Kennedy at a book signing, and when I met her I wore this Jackie Kennedy t-shirt and I told her to take a look at my shirt and she thought it was nice of me to wear a shirt of her mother.

Other than that, I have only seen famous people from afar. I saw Billy Crystal from afar and I saw him getting into the elevator of Marshall Field's (which is now Macy's) when he lit up the Christmas Tree downtown.

Last summer, when 'The Dark Knight' was shooting in downtown Chicago, I went at least once or twice a week to see if I could meet Christian Bale (Batman/Bruce Wayne). I did not meet or see him, but guess who I saw from afar? The late Heath Ledger in his full Joker costume, I got see the crew filming a bank robbery scene and Heath Ledger was there. Little did I know that he was going to die a few months later. May Heath Ledger R.I.P.

I've met the Daughter of Merle Haggard before, talked to her a couple of times, and I met her Father once. I think I've seen Joe Montana and Clint Eastwood before, but I couldn't get close enough to verify that. All three either live near my hometown or have a property there they visit regularly.

I forgot two, rather minor, but I'm sure you've heard of them. Ashley Parker Angel, and Jennifer Stigile, who are both from my hometown and close to my age. For those who aren't Lunar fans, Jenny Stigile sang the songs for the original Lunar, and Ashley Angel made it even bigger as a member of O-town.
