Im really annoyed with "Bandwagon" mentality right now. This whole "Go Green" thing with hollywood. Excuse me some of us were ecologically conservative before it became cool. Im so sick of people only developing a conscious for earth and humane causes when their favorite actors do it. Now all a suddent because some actor or actress is "going green" everyone will do it till the next popular good act comes out. Just like the changing of faiths, helping homeless and adopting third world country children. I wonder if actors start helping inner city and rural area kids will that finally become a kick to? It just bugs me that till hollywood does something its not important to alot of people. Cause god knows we dont need to care about our planet till a top star does...ugh.

But third world children make better accessories then orphans in America/Canada/U.K. There like, imported!

I get annoyed when someone says some sexual term, and you ask what it means, and the other person is all, "Lawlz you don't know what ___ means? Hahaha!" and makes a huge deal out of it.

But then later you use a big word (or even a small word, like the word "passive") and the other person asks, "What's that?" and they get all mad and offended at your response because it 'somehow' sounds like you're calling them stupid for not knowing the word's meaning.

Because stupid sexual slang is more important to know than an actual word in the English language.

At the moment I have a certain hatred for a certain group of people on the internet. I know some people may go to this site, and find it funny, but I've honestly had it. -_-
Encyclopedia Dramatica. Now, some stuff on there is kind of funny, and its fine to poke fun at people, but this site just goes over the top. First off, they will troll every site on the internet, me becoming blind with some of the gross shit they post. They have a certain hatred for everything. BUT, when it goes as far to wish upon a death, or destruction of a REAL_PERSON, and do it. That is just, sad. AppleMilk1988, some of you may have heard of her. I like her, she seems like a smart and nice person. This site (or some from others) Hacked everything she had. Her Youtube and another page where hacked twice! And youtube hasn't done anything so far -_-; The site also insults varius other DA members. Its a heavily racist site.

Unencyclopedia is a nice parody site. ED had porn on everysingle page with no warning (and a million trick links ;-; )

God...I don't know AppleMilk1988, but that is just sad. I wonder if she knows about this. I'd sue their asses if that happend to me. But then they'd probably make another site bitching about being sued. Oh well. More money to gain from.

I think she does know because
1. Her account was hacked either monday
2.Got account back tuesday
3. Re-hacked today

She is currently in Japan right now, so I doubt she can get on the computer as often as usual.

I get really annoyed, when my mom pouts if she knows she has to cook something, and she'd rather eat out. She does this a LOT, and honestly? We don't HAVE the money to just to go out and blow it on fast food or an expensive dinner.

Just last night, we went to Lone Star and spent $60+ on dinner. That should really make paying the bills a lot easier, right? But mom didn't care, because that mean't she didn't have to cook. Bah, I hate it when she does that crap. -_-;;

ugh what aggrivates me is having no phone line for an entire weekend, and living in an area where dsl is not an option. My family and I are having satellite internet installed this week hopefully but *lets out a stream of unplesant cuss words*. No internet for 2 days makes Tynnie an unhappy camper. And the bad thing is we had no idea there was no line till I tried installing aol on my grandma's new pc and couldnt get threw with that so after sitting like a dummy trying to figure out why it the connection kept timing out I finally looked to see the house phone saying No Line ugh. If it wasnt for my cell phone wed have no way to reach to even let anyone know there were problems either which bugs me because my grandmas elderly and she needs a phone for emergencies but thats a whole nother rant. Then to add to my frustration with the situation it was the weekend so instead of a live person I get AutoAnnie the service bot trying to talk me threw a phoneline problem. I dont know about most of you but my tech experience is limited so trying to work with an automated system to fix a phone line for me was like teaching a monkey algebra. Either way tonight i'll have to catch up on what I missed posted in these forums cause this dial up thing is beyond aggrivating, everything is moving slow and I got to post in two topics and now this one before im just fed up trying to figure out if it even posted so going to go relax and call the satellite people to see if they are even coming out today sigh.

I get really annoyed with people who always assume that you are going to pay for them instead of them taking care of them selves. When the movie Triston and Isolde came out in Theaters my mom wanted to see it. So as a Birthday present I decided to take her and pay for her ticket. When we where on our way out my cousen decided to tag along. However when we got to the ticket booth my cousen revealed she didn't have any money and assumed that I was going to pay for her since I was paying for my mom. Well I had only brought enough money to pay for myself and my Mom so I didn't have any money for my cousen, so my mom payed for her ticket. Which screwed up my birthday present to because it was pretty the same if my mom was paying for her self. I was so pissed off :x . Why would any one invite them self to a movie if they don;t have the money to pay for them self!! Argh!!

Becuase Neon Heart's mother is the parent, not Neon Heart. Sure, it's nice to volunteer and help out every now and then. But her MOTHER is the PARENT. It's her responsibility to feed, clothe, and shelter her children until they are adults. Neon heart is still a minor, and it is irresponsible, IMO, to blow money that her mother may not have that could go to better things. A child shouldn't have to feel guilty for a parent's irresponsbility.

The only reason I don't make my own dinner, is because I barely know how to cook anything. Sure, I can cook a LITTLE...But I doubt my mom wants me having taquitos and frozen pizza for dinner, everynight. But knowing our crappy dinner diet, I doubt that'd make any difference, anyway.

But getting back on topic, I'm currently annoyed at the little girl who lives at the bottom of the hill.

This little girl that I met at our garage sale... Keeps coming over for some reason. She's like 9 years old, and she keeps coming by, POUNDING on the door, ringing the doorbell repetedly... I don't even know her name. She doesn't know mine. I have no idea wtf she could want... I'm this close [...] To swinging open the door, and just asking her "HEY, WHERE'S YOUR PARENTS??"

-_- I'd probably like her a little better if she didn't ask so many tough questions... Like, "where's your dad?" ... How the hell do I answer THAT? My dad hasn't been in the picture for 12 freakin' years, how the hell do I know where he's at?! She's done this for the past three days... What parent lets their child wander out to knock on people's doors they don't even know??

I know this is making me more annoyed and angrier than it should, but... God, she's just so pushy, and we don't even know each other! @[email protected]

Sounds to me like this child is very lonely, and is probably looking for a bit of help. Maybe her own father is gone, and that's why she asks you that question...to maybe gain her own answer.

I'd cut her some slack.

Both of her parents are at home. She says "My daddy's rich, he's got like a billion dollars in his bank account", and that sorta thing. I've seen him before, too. I dunno what her deal is. :?

*shrugs* which she could be embellishing on, to make herself sound interesting. Or maybe to cover up for a poor lifestyle. Children do things for many complex reasons, so there's no telling.

Some things that annoy me about my job:

- although I work in the produce department, I am a "surge checker" meaning that if the checkout lines get really long I have to open. It's not a big deal to help out once in a while, but it gets really out of control sometimes. There have been times that I wasn't able to stock items in Produce because I was so busy checking (and since I'm usually the last one in the department at night, it can be a problem)

- on a related note, whenever they adopt a new policy at the registers, they never tell the surge checkers. The other day I was scolded for not writing down the drivers licencse number on some checks. I had no idea I was supposed to. We never had to do it before I transfered to produce
O_o

- People who bring more than than the express lane limit. One or two items? Fine. A WHOLE FREAKING CART FULL? Not fine.
sample conversation:
*lady with a shopping cart; from this distance it's difficult to tell how full her cart is*
Lady: Do I have too many for this lane?
Me: Do you have ten items or less?
Lady: *counts items, then gets on line*
Me: *rings up 20 items* -_-;
Customer with One Item: *glare*
Experiance has taught me this:
if you have to ask the cashier if you have too many items for the Express Lane, then you do.

- Back in Produce, people just do not believe me when we are out of an item:
Customer: Do you have any *item*?
Me: No, ma'am.
Customer: So, you don't have any more *item* then?
Me:...no, we're out.

I don't know what these people are thinking.

Do they think I'm lying? Are they so stunned that we are out of the item that they do into denial? Do they think that we'll get a shipment as we speak?

Butterscotch I think retail helped push my mind over the edge. Seriously even though its been a good 8 years since I seen a register I still remember all the nightmares. Its why soon as I could I had my transfer to stock and photo lab put in. And I hated express lane with a passion even if the customers had the right amount I always got stuck with the people who could win most aggrivating or dumb awards. From the dumb frat guys buying beer or trying to with no proper id, to the little old ladies with bags of pennies and want to argue with you that the pear the picked out were the ones that were in the sales flyer even after you show them the picture and bring them the proper one. I hate grocery and retail and thank the gods I dont have to do it no more.

As for the little girl pestering Neon I say its an attention thing to. Even if her parents have a Bazillion dollars lol they must not be giving her much attention and I hope that it dont take someone kidnapping her tush for them to wake up. At nine you dont go knocking on strangers doors now adays. Heck even in my tight knit neighboorhood ya didnt do that at that age too many sickos out there.

I wasn't trying to make her her feel guilty, I was just wondering why, if her mother has such an issue with cooking why she doesn't make her own meals. I was just looking for an elaboration on her situation not trying to look down on her. I just figured that by her age she would know how to cook, in my house hold my mother did the majority of the cooking, but by the age of twelve my older sister and I where expected to cook dinner as well and we rotated on who made dinner through out the week and plan our schedule around the nights when we had to make supper for the family.

But that's how things where in my house hold while growing up, and I do realize that its not the same in every household and not every one knows how to cook, heck alot of the people in my age group didn't know how to cook till they moved out on their own and where forced to do it them selves. Some of them still don't know know how to cook. Sometimes I tend to forget that not every one was brought up the way I was.

boy do I hear ya on the "we don't have this item" ore deal with customers. I work in retail and I have to deal with the shit that you have mentioned. I work at Wal-Mart in the toy department and you wouldn't believe that rudeness of some customers when you tell them you don't have a certain item. And they do act like you are lying to to them and they insist they you look in the back room to see if they just they are in the back. Honestly I want to put , my fist through their face when they tell me that. As if I don;t know what I do or don;'t have in my department actually had two young guys that where around my age who wanted to turn me in because I said we didn't have an item they where looking for

but these are my top pet peeves at my job:

Adults who take the bicycles down and ride them around my department...fully gown adults who should know better. :x

Parents who let their kids run wild as if the toy de[artment was a play ground :x

People who ask me to get somethimng from up high and them just leave it in the middle of the aisle

People who step directly in front of you when you are trying to straighten an area as you are not their and mess up what you just did.

People who tear open merchandise and leave the toy out of its box which devalues the product (know one what to buy an toy with a box that has been opened)

people who ask to open some thing because they want to see how big/long it is when the size/length is clearly marked on the product.

People who are to lazy to do their own shopping and want you to look for things for them or cater to them like they where special.

People who can't wait their turn. When I am helping a customer I will finish helping that customer before I go to help another one. I hate it when a customer can't wait till I'm done with another and get pissy over it.

customers who, when you tell them you don't have something, just stare at you like your stupid and then walk away from you with out even a thank you or some some kind of acknowledgment that you took the trouble to check the back for them
Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
