(Arekkusu, for those who can't read katakana or have computers with the same difficulty.)

Like a few of you, I already knew this from taking Japanese classes.

You seem to have quite an unusual name! I'm afraid I couldn't find anything like it in the database."
Seems kinda funny to me.
The page says that it isn't set up for Japanese names. Makes sense, considering Japanese names are... already in Japanese.
Nice try, though.
Three quotes I like:

"Smart. Beautiful. Mercurius Twin."

"Stop that, you! You're an accessory."
-Tsukino Usagi (to Luna, ep. 6)

"Stop the clapping! YOU'LL KILL US ALL!!"
- Professor Frink

It says my name is pronouced II-DA, but that's inaccurate; the accurate pronounciation would be AI-DA. The katakana spelling is also wrong, since the pronounciation was wrong. It's pronounced almost exactly the same way in Japanese as it is in English. The spelling threw the translator off. Like some others, I got mine from my Japanese class.

I'm pretty sure that the Japanese don't pronounce L's (Sera Myu, for example), so it wouldn't be pronounced as an L.

Ah, thanks. I'm still getting used to the whole concept of letter pronounciations.

Jade Keira Phonetically:
ジェイド Jeido キイラ Kiira

Actual Translation:
黒 Kuro (Black*) 翡翠 Hisui (Jade)

My name kicks ass in two languages. XD

*Keira is derived from the Irish Ciar, meaning black.

My Japanese name is Kerisa. Though I don't like my real name that much, the translation is pretty cool. I like how it sounds. :)

"Keitorin," huh? That sounds even better than my original name. ^_^
