Mr. James : Lost a satellite on liftoff today.
Dave : Cost?
Mr. James : 10 million dollars.
Dave : Result?
Mr. James : Extreme set back.
Dave : Milk?
Mr. James : Spilled.
Dave : Gonna cry about it?
Mr. James : Not even.
Dave : I''m sitting on a rather sharp tack.
Mr. James : That's gotta hurt.
Dave : Well, life's a bitch...
Mr. James : ...And then you die.
Dave : My...
Mr. James : ...oh...
Dave : ...my.

I'm writing this Sailor Moon/Green Lantern crossover AU fic called "Emerald Sunrise". It's a hybrid of Action/Adventure, Sci-Fi, Romance, and Comedy. It's about Ami (Sailor Mercury) getting a new boyfriend who just happens to be a member of The Green Lantern Corps. I'm also throwing in some other characters from other animes and some old Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the late '60's early '70's. I'm also illustrating it as well. Wish me luck. I'm gonna need it.

So... much... Star Trek! This is quite a trekkie if I've ever seen one!

anyway...

Katamari Damacy: I can't believe nobody posted this. This has some seriously amusing and wonderful songs. The theme song alone is made of win.
Now listening to: Gorillaz: El Mañana

"You can teach an old dog new tricks... but you cannot teach Madonna to act."
-Yakko Warner

Can't believe I haven't seen this yet... anyways...
Just as a warning... I'm biased towards Orchestrated works.

TV: None I can think of.

Video Games: *TOO MANY. X_x;*

Chrono Cross It's orchestrated, and many of the themes are great. Time's Scar is one of my favorite songs. One reason this may be overlooked a lot is because CC wasn't as successful as CT, but I like the soundtrack of CC more.

Chrono Trigger You can't really argue about this... one of the best RPG's ever made has a phenomenal soundtrack. Magus's theme = FREAKING AWESOME.

Kingdoom Hearts 2 Also, great. *good* Disney themes in an orchestra, combined with both Final Fantasy, and new themes. just great.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance *orchestrated FE theme = AWESOME*

Super Smash Bros. Melee I don't think you could argue much with this... an FE combination, Fountain of Dreams, it has the collection of a lot of Nintendo's best and well-known soundtracks, and new ones that are great as well.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Zelda has a number of great soundtracks, many from all their games. Ballad of the Wind Fish, Song of healing, Wind Waker opening, and Twilight Princess's themes as well. But Ocarina has some of the best-remembered themes, and most innovative differences. *original version, Fire Temple Chanting. XD*

Movies:

Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back All of the Star Wars movies have a great soundtrack, so I'll pick what I think has the best. The Imperial march is introduced in this movie, and it easily one of the most famous pieces from this movie. Yoda's theme is also great...

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Okay, this is where Nobou Uematsu's works appear in my list. FFVII isn't on my list because... the music soudns like a midi file... but in AC, the Piano and orchestra suit some songs much better in my opinion. Orchestrated One Winged Angel = WIN.

Pirates of the Carribian ... need I say more? *goes to hum the themes*
-Adam Picard-
Blake? oh, like a coffee break!!
Poet? What is that? Is it tasty? Is it a popular new snack? Usagi, Stars 179

James: For some reason I'm seeing you in a nurse's uniform...
Steve: Thank you Jeff, that will be all. ... He's not here, is he? Oh God I've internalized him...
-Coupling; The Freckle, the Key, and the Couple who weren't

'Who will tell us about this? Oh, no it is didnt know New Orleans was underwater guy.'
-Jon Stewart, The Daily Show

"Plus, Act now and you'll get the Mood of Dick Cheney! Including Rage, *RANH* Irritability, *RANH* and Mind-Blowing Orgasmic pleasure! *RAAAAANH* Order now!"
-The Daily Show, 8-22-06

“Oh, yes, I can just see it now. I’ll tell the others how I tried to talk you out of this like a reasonable, responsible friend, and you threw a Deep Submerge at me.”
-Rei to Michiru, Long Way Down by RadiantBeam

"I rather laugh with the Sinners than cry with the Saints, the Sinners are much more fun."
-Bill Joel, Only The Good Die Young

Words of Advice:
1. Always remember you are normal, it everyone else that "weird".
2. Remember Ferengi Rules of Acquisition #76: Every once in a while, declare peace. It confuses the hell out of your enemies.
3. Jack may be nimble and Jack may be quick, but he still burned his a** on the candlestick.

Jan Hammer's Beyond The Mind's Eye soundtrack has easily become one of my favorites, and not just because of the nostalgia factor. Brave New World is one of my favorite pieces of music. (Canadians who watched YTV in the mid 90's may remember those computer animated shorts they showed inbetween programs called Short Circutz. A lot of these had his soundtrack in them.)
