WarioWare Madness!

Post by Skull13 » Wed Oct 17, 2007 8:00 am

Recently, I've been on a WarioWare craze.

First, I downloaded, WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! (GBA).

Then, I bought these games in this order.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves (Wii)
WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$! (GCN)
WarioWare: Touched! (DS)

The only one missing from this collection is WarioWare: Twisted! (GBA). I tried downloading it, but the game uses a motion sensor feature, and that makes it impossible to play on the computer. I've tried using certain methods and downloaded certain patches, but to no avail. So now, I'm trying to see where I can find a copy of the game.

Just a few weeks ago, I bought both WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! & WarioWare: Twisted! Now my collection is complete, until they make another game.

I bought Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles a few days after the release date, even though I don't have a PSP right now. I'm planning on getting it for Christmas.

On my birthday, I used the money my mom gave me to get a DS Lite, so I can finally play the Castlevania games. I couldn't get online on my DS because I set up my wireless access point for WPA2 protection, and I'm aware that the DS doesn't support the protocol right now, and I'm unwilling to spend money for Nintendo's Wi-Fi adapter.

I got my first import game recently, Ar tonelico II. Haven't been able to play it yet since I'm waiting for the stuff I need to mod my PS2 with, but I'm excited. It looks a bit odd on my shelf though.

I spent $40 on the new DDR game, a few weeks ago... Yes, but it was $40 well spent. And I have to say, I like it a lot better than I thought I would. The default song list is a step up from the last one, excluding the Spitney Spears and Justin Timberlake song. -.-; But otherwise, I like it.

Actually, they're Sega Genesis games. /nitpick

This past weekend was employee appreciation weekend where our discounts are raised to 25% and still stack with the Edge card. Continuing the tradition I started last year, this is the weekend I got gifts for myself and will get gifts for others in the coming weeks. =P

As mentioned in the other thread, I did pick up a Gold DS Lite, but new systems aren't included in the discount, but the upgrade promo made it more than worth it. Trading in my copy of Zelda for the DS a couple days prior with a 30% bonus trade credit coupon adding on the Edge card bonus helped as well (the game is bundled with the system anyways) and since I got my system at the stand-alone store closeby, I was able to trade in a few DVDs I've been meaning to replace, making the excursion very cheap for me. ^_^

While new systems can't be discounted, used ones can, so I can happily say that I once again have a 360. ^_^ The system itself with a wireless controller was about $200, and a used hard drive that came back in that day was about $40 so yay. =D Picked up Sneak King for it just because, and re-bought DDR universe out of the archive. Also picked up a play and charge kit, a month of Xbox Live Gold, and 1600 MS points. I haven't even touched the points yet, but I did get Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix for the Xbox Live Arcade. I <3 that game to death, but it looks like I have lost my touch. >.< I'll start playing online after I get the quarter miser achievement.

Last but not least, I re-got Final Fantasy III out of the archive. The price dropped a lot earlier that week and I actually ended up making money since the trade in value for it when I entered it in the archive was a good amount more than what I paid when I bought it back. ^_^

Tis alright, I'm just pretty anal about correct stuff when it comes to the gaming industry, don't mind me. ^^;;;

Also, I forgot to mention I also picked up my copy of DDR Hottest Party for the Wii finally last weekend as well. Twas a very merry Christmas for me indeed. XD

Wal-Mart was selling their Gamecubes, bundled with Paper Mario, for $70. With my discount, I got the box for a total of $71. Unfortunately it didn't come with a memory card, so I can't save my game now. Hopefully EB Games will have a reasonably priced one tomorrow (Ha! EB Games reasonably priced. That'll be the day).

GameCube is a dead system (so much so it sells used for $30 now o.o; ), so all our accessories are pretty cheap for it right now. =P
