From an unknown doujin.

In case you're wondering, Aoko Aozaki is who is in the fuku, and the cat (with a crescent moon probably glued to her head) is the alt form of White Len.

Edit-

Update, found the source.

It's from a doujin called Moon Princess. And Aoko is not the only one donning a sailor fuku.

I had to bump this thread because this sighting (actually it's more of a reference) is funny. Watch this sample from the Rifftrax site. Its at the end.
Peachvampiress has an account on DeviantArt. Insanity Within.
And a Myspace account for her clothing designs.

Robot Chicken just had another Sailor Moon reference.

In a sequel to their "Where are they now" segment, this time focusing on Girl Toys from yesteryear. It showed what became of old toys since kids grew up and stopped playing with them.

Apparently Sailor Moon sells her used panties on e-Bay, this was one of the more dignified responses. (You don't want to know what happened to JEM).

You know it's bad when auctioning off used panties is the more dignified route.

I thought Strawberry Shortcake handled herself quite nicely, though.

Sailor Moon on Agro's Cartoon Connection

Explanation: Agro's Cartoon Connection was a weekday-morning programming block (that did, at one point, showcase Sailor Moon). The show was hosted by the puppet Agro (performed by Jamie Dunn) and a few human hosts (the ones I remember are Ian Calder, Michael "Gibbo" Gibson, Home and Away's Holly Brisley and future Great Outdoors reporter Ann-Maree Biggar).
"That new girl? She seems kinda weird to me. And what kind of name is Buffy anyway?"
"Hey, Aphrodisia!"

If you're reading this, then you've lost the game.

Apparently the Sailormoon S fighting game is popular with a certain artist.

A shot from Michael Bell-Smith's Up and Away art video loop.

Recognize those blue spires in the background? They're from the nighttime Crystal Tokyo backdrop from the game.

Screenshot.

I saw a picture of this in USA Weekend (Jan 18-20), and recognized the palace right away. The picture in the insert is flipped, though. I don't know why. o_O;

On the sims bustin out game you can get a schoolgirl outfit similar to that of Usagi's. It's just a shame you don't get the odango hairstyle ;_;

I used to play the "Old School" Sierra adventure games when I was in my early teens. One of the ones I didn't get at the time of its release (but that I've subsequently bought off eBay) was the game Torin's Passage. It was created by Al Lowe, who also did the Leisure Suit Larry series, but I digress.

Anyway, I'd heard about this Easter Egg in Torin's Passage, but finally got to see it with my own eyes. And...well, I won't spoil this one.

Take a look at the screenshot I got. See someone familiar?

I <3 the old sierra games. Kings Quest and Space Quest FTW!

I've heard about her being there, but I haven't gotten that far, as Torrin's Passage isn't as intuitive as the other games in the series, and I refuse to use a walkthrough.

Yup, I just got to the end the other night myself. Ah, the memories. I've really missed those old games that I grew up playing. I really wish there were more games like the old Sierra adventure games. Everything nowadays seems like it's more eye candy than anything else.

But again, I digress...

What is Sailor Moon?
That was today's question to the $1600 answer on today's (6/18/08) edition of Jeopardy! during the Double Jeopardy! round.

..Seriously? What was the answer?

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

Yeah, the category was anime and the $1600 question was something like Naoko Takeuchi's moon superhero is from the 'magical girl' genre...bleh I can't exactly remember the exact question.
For:
$400-Pokemon
$800-Akira EDIT: (no one got, although someone was close.)
$1200-Transformers
$1600-Sailor Moon
and the $2000-Princess Mononoke (no one also got)

Rather interesting. :D

Actually, they didn't get the Akira one. (Akiro?:roll: ) The second person who buzzed in did answer the Transformers one right.

"This 'Lunar' Naoko Takeuchi creation is an example of a 'magical girl' given powers to save the world."

That was the exact answer that was given.
It was uplifting for me to see this, especially now that I'm depressed after hearing about Miyuki Kanbe passing away.

Akira and Mononoke Hime were both on my list of most important movies! Spirited Away should have been in that catagory instead of Transformers though...
The Music of the Night and Tuxedo Mirage are what keep me from going completely INSANE! (right...)

I bought the fourth volume of the CCS Master of the Clow manga and at the back had ADs from Tokyopop's manga. Sailor Moon was one of the manga advertised. Then I realized that CCS Master of the Clow manga was published in 2003, probably when the Sailor Moon manga was still in print.

Grrr, this is driving me crazy! I could have sworn that, long ago, I was linked from this topic to a webcomic that had Batman and Robin transforming like Usagi and Chibiusa... But now I can't seem to find it. ;_;

Anybody know what that website was? I've gone through the topic multiple times now... Oh, well.

I just recently read through this whole topic and I know I saw the comic you're talking about, so you should probably check through all the posts in this thread.
