LOL....Panda, I totally forgot about that song! That sums it up right there for me.

Manga Tuxexdo Mask was a lot cooler, but as far as between MK and TM I still think Tuxedo Mask is better. He just does more and actually tries to be useful. Course, depends on the episode.

I'll say Moonlight Knight (Knight of the Moonlight) just to be different. lol

I liked the white rose for a change, and the fact that his total face was covered so that his identity was completely kept a secret. He also had that cool sword, whereas Tuxedo Mask only had a cane/stick.

Why pick someone just because no one else is... develop an opinion.

On topic though... I thought the white roses were pretty bad ass. Didn't Tuxie have Black roses for a few episodes as well?

To bad he couldn't have had yellow ones at one point...

Agreed.

I never liked Tuxy but when I first saw the Moonlight Knight I just thought it was the stupidest thing the show had done, period.

Yes, when he was "brain washed" by Beryl, his roses turned black. ^^

U-Baulla stole that when she was made from a yellow rose. So she beat him to it, lol.

btw i was joking about choosing Moonlight Knight to be different. calm down... plus i did develop an opinion by saying he had a cool sword and for once you wouldnt be able to tell who he was. but anyways..

Its interesting to note that the tuxedo was originally a British invention yet the subconcious enity that created "Moonlight Knight" selected garmets and weaponry of Arabic influence. Only explaination I could come up with on why this particular culture was chosen is at one point in time arabian stories where considered romantic among the public (ie 1001 Arabian Nights). However the tuxedo never had any romantic, heroic intention. It was created as a smoking jacket at the time(Henry Poole, 1860).

Thankfully in the anime Tuxedo Kamen never smoked nor did Moonlight Night say "May Allah be with you" after leaving.

I think it's interesting how Tuxedo Mask wears mostly black, while the Moonlight Night wears white. I wonder if they intentionally made the two characters contrast, or if it's just a coincidence.

That's a common misconception, but the tuxedo is actually American, being invented in, and named for, a town in New York. It evolved out of British dinner jackets, but the familiar configuration that would include TK's suit, is American. A brief history of same.

Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."

Well, Luna is black and Artemis is white... Doesn't really make a differencre though does it. I think it's the same for TM/MK.

well i really missed tuxedo kamen when he was gone and moonlight knight wasnt even in the manga...but anyway i do like certain thing so fmoonlight knight such as his sword and as for the speeches...eh they both are even to me. i did nearly melt when moonlight knight says "adieu" it was so mysterious. perhaps this is one of the best aspects of moonlight knight was his mysteriousness.. i have to say he was hte only sm character which i see how no one knows hes mamoru since you can only see his eyes...even though we all knew he was mamoru i mean the similiarites between tuxedo kamen and moonlight kightn are ovious! Anyway one last thing...how do you go from a tux to an arb's costume and a camel and he talks in french?? (adieu) it was random...

i dont really like either of them.

They seem too much like the "OMG gotta save the helpless girls" characters that annoy me a lot.

They just way overused them and didnt have the senshi save him often enough in comparison

Since not many people seem to like TK, and fewer people seem to like MK (don't quote me on that), could it be that MK was created so that the audience, even Sailor Moon, would appreciate TK.

Yeah, I know.

Personally, I like Tuxedo Kamen more. He made an effort, and his speeches weren't too bad at times. He was best in the manga though. Also, I can't resist a man in black. :P
