Yeah..it's really hard for me to picture Tuxedo Kamen with a british accent.

I made a mistake, I didn't mean that the actors actually had to look like the characters, i meant that they needed to really portray the character properly.. any actor can look like the character with the righ make up and costume

Yeah. That would be hard to picture. Dan could be as good of a Seiya as me being Sailor Jupiter, Bob being Sailor Venus, Joe being Nethrite and Tiffu being Molly. I just can't picture it.

And... eh... what about Dakota Fanning (If it hasn't been tried already). She's 13, and she could do someone young, like Chibi-Usa... Then again, Chibi-Usa's like 8, so...

I could see Ella Fanning as Chibi-Usa, since they are both around the same age and stature. I really think she can pull it off.

I know the we shouldn't judge actors by the roles they play, but if his first role (and only role so far) has been a god-awful character in a god-awful movie then it's going to create a sort bias against him. I admit, I don't know if he was a good actor acting out a bad role or simply a crappy actor, but I suspect the later, because if he was a good actor he wouldn't have taken the role in the first place.

Besides that, I think it would be a better idea to have female actors for the Starlights' civilian identities in the live-action. The gender-bending transformations would be rather difficult to do, and it would be easier to have just one actor instead of two for the Starlights.

Jupiter: Blake Lively (Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Gossip Girl)
Venus: Hayden Panettiere (Heroes)

Luna: Amy Adams
Artemis: Andy Samberg
Chibi-Moon: Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine)

I think Dakota Fanning is suited more to Hotaru. Just look at her in Hide and Seek, she could easily pull off the black hair and the quiet attitude. All she needs is some purple contacts and she's ready to go.

If Johnny Depp was younger he would make a good Tuxedo Mask. I think he would look good with a mask and a cape and he could easily pull off the role.

Milla Jovovich would be good as Haruka mainly because of the facial expressions she pulls. They seem suited to Haruka. As for the age debate, Haruka looks older than the other girls anyway.
