Spring/Easter 2007 Banner Contest

Time for the pretty Easter/Spring contest!

This year's theme is Easter Bunnies: Usagi and Chibiusa.

You may use a picture of them that's either manga or anime based, but your theme must portray BOTH of them. You may use any form of them (civilian form, royal form, senshi form, etc) Try to stick with a spring-like color scheme...pastels, and such. Making it easter-y is a plus, too.

Rules:

1) Your banner must contain any form of Usagi AND Chibiusa with a "spring/easter" type theme.

2) Banner must be 300 x 137 in size and in GIF or JPG format. You may submit up to 2.

3) You are allowed to use brushes, backgrounds, and edit any original images. Photoshop filters are fine, and I have no problem if you want to add extra pictures/clip parts. If you use a brush, credit the brushmaker in your post. Please be careful about text and fonts. I MUST be able to read it.

4) The banner needs to say "Sailor Moon Uncensored Forums" and have the url, "http://www.smuncensored.com" (url can be shortened if need be) on it. This must be done in a readable font (this includes size, style, and color)

5) In order to enter, you must have been a member for at least two weeks and an ACTIVE POSTER AS OF TODAY. Anyone who joins the forums after this is NOT ELIGIBLE. This isn't to be mean, but I don't want people joining just for the contest, and we have too many members who have never posted or have only posted once or twice. If you are unsure as to whether you qualify as an "active member", contact me.

OTHER GUIDELINES:

1) Please try to use a readable font. I cannot stress this enough.
2) It starts with a C and ends with Tivity.

THE DEADLINE IS SATURDAY, MARCH 10.

Prizes are as follows:

1st: Banner displayed April 8-21, avatar made by me.
2nd: Banner displayed March 25-April 8, avatar made by me.
3rd: Banned displayed March. 11-24 avatar made by me.

I would like you to upload the banner to your webspace (if you have one) and paste the link here, so that everyone may view your creation. If you do not have webspace, email it to me, and I'll upload it for you. DO NOT POST THE IMAGE ITSELF HERE.

Wow, guys. I am so completely disappointed in this year's spring/easter banner contest.

I love the entries I got (Thanks to Neon Heart, Butterscotch, and Mercurius Twin), but come on. Surely we could have gotten more, with as much as people have been posted the past week.

I even busted my ass to find all of those pictures -_-

So anyway...here we go:

1st - Butterscotch, 2nd entry

I will make your avatars on wednesday, as I will be gone from sunday-wednesday for spring break.

I can't believe only three people entered! Had I known the turnout was so low during the last couple of days, I would've tried to get a banner done after work or something. I made Tiffu and Usagi cry! ToT

Yay, I won second! Of course, it's difficult not to when there are only three people who entered anyway, but that doesn't make it any less exciting!

Shouldn't Neon Heart's banner be up right now, though, instead of mine? I wouldn't want to take away anyone's airtime...
